KIDS ACTIVITIES IN IBIZA
It’s no secret that there is no shortage of adult activities to partake in on the island of Ibiza, however Ibiza has been catering for family tourism since the sixties. Ibiza’s spectacular natural beauty, it’s balmy Mediterranean waters and it’s natural predilection for fun ensure that there is huge selection of kids activities to choose from. OCEAN MANIA
Ocean Mania is an obscene amount of fun no matter what age you are, it’s the perfect way to spend a day in the sea for those who find the beach a little too passive. The inflatable water wipe out park is situated 50 metres out at sea directly opposite Ocean Beach Ibiza in San Antonio. Get ready for obstacles of balancing beams, catapults, rope swings and high dives as well as slides and trampolines to keep everyone amused and entertained.
HORSE RIDING
The Valley of Horses is a unique place in Ibiza. Situated on the North side of the Island, in the natural park of Es Murta, It’s a place where horses from many horizons (from the Arabic to the Appaloosa, Percheron, and French trotter and of course the Spanish) can live wild and free in a canyon spanning 70 hectares. Theses horses can help you discover Ibiza from a unique perspective, taking you from mountain tops trekking through lush untouched nature down to the beautiful beaches of the North coast. They offer half a day with a break for lunch in a country restaurant or pic-nick on the beach. For advanced and more adventurous riders they can go for two days or more with camping on the beach or accommodation in rural hotels. Ibiza’s horse valley was created to save, house and rehabilitate badly treated horses. These horses were mostly used on race tracks, locked up or abandoned. So not only are you enjoying a fantastic day out but you are supporting the care of these rescued and rehabilitated horses.
ACROBOSC ACTION PARK
Acrobosc Ibiza combines the great outdoors with action packed activities active kids will love. Nestled in the pine forests of Es Caná just off Cala Pada Beach, the park features a variety of arial assault courses. Thirty nine platforms between 2 and 6m high, 49 obstacles and 20 zip lines from 4 to 65m length and trampolines will keep your little adventurers occupied for hours. Safety nets, cables and harnesses keep you aloft and instructors are present to show the way however all under 18’s require adult supervision.
BALLOONING
It’s hard to imagine a more fantastic way to view the island than floating silently across the dawn sky, the green and yellow pockets of citrus fields, stretches of white sand beaches fringed by startlingly clear turquoise waters of Ibiza drifting below. A Hot air balloon ride is something memories are made of.
STAR BOATS IBIZA
Boating isn’t normally something that springs to mind when you are on a restricted budget, however! Ibiza caters to everyone if you are prepared to research your options. Luckily you have us to do this for you. Star Boats is located on the tiny pier just off Es Puet restaurant in San Antonio (which also happens to be one of the best value beachfront fish restaurants on the island). The low powered boats require neither a skipper or a boat license and will comfortable hold 5 people. San Antonio bay sits in the middle of beautiful coastline so there are spectacular coves and beaches to be found which ever costal route you decide to take. This is without doubt the most cost effective and beautiful way to explore Ibiza’s coastline.
