Can Pere

Can Pere
Ibiza low cost agroturismo

Pulling up to the traditional finca in an idyllic rural setting, arriving at Can Pere feels like arriving at the sometimes illusive ‘real’ Ibiza. The focus of the owners on providing an authentic Ibicencan experience, not only the buildings but the food, hospitality and general ambience, can be felt straight away.

The hotel itself is a lovingly cared for building from the 1800’s, all the original features like wooden beams and fireplaces have been carefully restored along with the rooms and outside spaces. The grounds are expansive, around 16 acres in total and Can Pere falls under the category of ‘agroturismo’, a combination of agriculture and tourism which is heavily encouraged by the local government. There are olive trees, vines, almond and other fruit trees which give a real feel of Ibiza’s farming heritage.

There is a choice of double rooms or junior suites, the suites come with a separate living room and bedroom, 4 of the suites even have their own jacuzzi. All rooms come with modern amenities you’d expect from a place of this quality including air conditioning and a mini bar.

There are 3 lounges in the hotel, 2 which have fireplaces and one which serves a double purpose as a library. Outside there is a good sized swimming pool surrounded by loungers and day beds and the hilltop location affords lovely views across the valley.

Can Pere may be a countryside retreat but it is also less than 10 minutes drive from the bustling town of Santa Eulalia and the airport can be reached in around 20 minutes. We love this place because it has struck a compelling balance between being true to it’s past whilst offering contemporary comfort at an attractive price, a winning combination.
